Contacted Top Notch Tree Experts about an estimate. Josh came out the same day and estimated the job, emailed an estimate that afternoon that matched what was discussed and told me what day he could perform the work. I received an email reminder the day before letting me know what time he would be here. Josh and his crew showed up on time and advised about the work again. Josh and his crew got right to work removing a huge oak from near house, ground stump along with 2 older stumps and cleaned everything up better than I expected ( based on prior tree companies I have used ) his whole crew was professional. Josh and Josh Jr. Just removed a triple trunk tree that was dying in the corner of our backyard. They were extremely professional, through and polite. In addition, the cost for their service was reasonable. After the large tree was removed, they had an associate grind the stump to about six inches below the ground line. He was equally pleasant and professional. The entire process went smoothly and promptly. Lastly, they provided proof of both liability and worker’s compensation insurance. This further attests to their professionalism. I will be calling them for future tree pruning or removal. I would highly recommend them!

needed a moderate size tree cut down. had an idea of what it was worth to pay. called about 6 companies. all but Top Notch were quoting very high. Top Notch beat everyone's quote by 50% or more. cost was primary factor, but what made it special was the communication and reliability. their style is what we all expect to be the norm but unfortunately is now the exception. i hope they maintain this excellent service as the business grows.

Had a good experience with this company. They quickly came out for the estimate and got us scheduled quickly. They are quick to get your invoice over and communicate very well, I really appreciate that. We needed the larger trees over our driveway trimmed, including a sycamore tree and oak tree. The branches are no longer hanging over my cars and the main road so I feel much better knowing the chance of damage to my property and city property is lessened now. Top Notch Tree Experts for the win! We used them back in 2023 taking down numerous trees as well as stump removal. We neglected at the time to remove the tallest pine tree on our property, probably 85-90 feet tall. I reached out to Josh at Top Notch, he came that afternoon to look at the tree then just days later removed the tree plus another dead tree, ground the stumps too - all complete within 4 hours. He now has a nifty lift that makes it safer and quicker to get the work done. Completely recommend using Top Notch Tree Experts if/when you need tree work done.

We got a quote to trim some trees over our pool cage as well as some tall palms. Top Notch gave a competitive quote, timeline, and was helpful talking through some different scenarios with me concerning trees on my property. Our neighbors had them take down a large dead tree in between our two properties as well. They did great work and they left no trace of their work in the yard. We had a 75-85 foot Live Oak tree in my backyard. I called it my Spanish Moss tree. I got a few estimates and this is where I decided to go with Top Notch Tree Experts. With Top Notch's estimate, I know that's who I was going with. They came out a week later as scheduled. Josh (the owner) his son Josh, Chris and a couple other helpers work their butts off a solid two days taking down that tree. The second day there they work a solid 12 hours. The stump was grinded down and everything was cleaned up and hauled off to my satisfaction. They had obstacles to maneuver around. Fences, a shed, a pool patio enclosure. Their expertise in taking down that big tree was spot on. I had absolutely no damage to anything. They were very professional and got the job done. I was more than happy with the great work that the team of Top Notch Tree Experts did for us. I would recommend them to anyone that I know that needs tree removal. As a matter of fact...I have already recommended them to 2 other people already.

We had two Queen Palm trees in front of our house, and during a storm yesterday one of them broke near the base and fell onto our home. We called about ten companies that offered emergency tree removal services, but only three responded. The first one offered a reasonable price to remove the tree on my house and the second, taller Queen Palm, but said they would not be able to do the work until a couple of days later. The second company wanted almost double the amount of the first quote to come out, and that was only to remove the one tree that was leaning on my house. Then Top Notch Tree Experts arrived and offered a price just a little above the first price I received to remove both trees. When I mentioned I had been offered a slightly lower price, they offered to do it for the same price plus haul everything away, which the first company did not offer to do. I decided to go with Top Notch Tree Experts to get the tree off of my house and remove the second one so I wouldn't have to worry about it happening again, and I am glad I did. They were polite, professional, and had both trees down and cleaned up very quickly. I was so impressed I requested a quote to get another tree in a different area of my property removed as well. I got 3 quotes on a huge tree in my backyard that bent during Hurricane Helene. I just had a new roof put on a month ago and was worried about it falling on my new roof; especially with Hurricane Milton approaching. Josh did what no other tree service did and took me to the base of the tree, pulled off bark and showed me that it was rotting at the bottom. (We’re talking well over a 50’ tree.) He was substantially cheaper than the two other quotes, one being a reputable, local smaller company. Unlike them, Josh was so kind, professional and courteous. In my absence (at work) Josh took down a fence panel and removed a sago that blocked access. He put the fence back up when he was finished. He raked and everything! There was not a limb to be found it my yard, not even a twig! His wife, Cassie did most all of the communicating as Josh is usually too busy doing his job. She is the sweetest thing. We communicated back and forth via e-mail several times and she checks e-mail quickly. I HIGHLY recommend this company as they are truly “Top Notch!”

Clean up was great - heck they even took care of the neighbor's yard stuff. Roof was also cleaned off. Funny thing as I was watching them work I thought "these guys are precise... top notch!" - which just happens to all be in the name!

They also were very diligent taken the tree down which most of it hung over into our neighbors yard and was very careful and dropping the tree in our yard only! They took the time to clean and make our yard look very nice before they left .. We received 3 quotes to get a large oak tree removed with stump grinding and root removal along with getting the area leveled out. Josh was very detailed in his estimate when he came and he was the best price we received. The whole process was pretty simple and straightforward. Josh explained everything well and his whole team was kind, personable, professional, and worked diligently to get everything done. They were also very kind in letting all our children watch from a safe distance. Will definitely be using them for any tree / leveling projects in the future.

Josh and his crew came out cut down a tree for us ground the stump and hauled away all the debris. They we fast, the price was great and the cleaned everything up. He just took a tree down and cleaned up a couple of other trees for me yesterday. He is a hard working guy and affordable. He is the best tree guy I’ve ever had. Cleaned up really good after cutting tree down. I will definitely use him again if I need any tree work.
